2021 Tesla Model Y
This freshly delivered 2021 Tesla Model Y visited our Austin, TX, XPEL install center. Here, our certified installers treated the Model Y’s glass in ceramic window tint. The owner opted for our XPEL PRIME XR Black window film, a popular choice with Tesla Model drivers. With PRIME XR, the Tesla Model Y’s interior is protected against 99% of harmful UV rays. In addition, it helps improve interior comfort by defecting 98% of infrared red. In a state like Texas, protection from the sun is a primary necessity.
For 2021, Tesla released a Standard Range variant for the Model Y. It is a rear-wheel-drive only and offers 244-miles of range. However, since then, that trim option has been removed. This was after Elon Musk announced that a better variant would replace it. But, of course, one can still buy a 2021 Tesla Model Y in an all-wheel-drive Long Range variant. The Long Range Model Y delivers 326 miles of range. There is also a performance variant with a range of 303 miles. This model variant also comes with 20-inch wheels and a top speed of 145 mph with a track mode.
Our automotive window tint is designed to protect without sacrificing clarity. PRIME XR PLUS ™ ceramic window film can block 99 percent of harmful UV rays and 98 percent of infrared heat. According to the American Cancer Society, long-term exposure to harmful UV rays is a leading cause of skin cancer. PRIME XR PLUS window film can reduce glare and hot spots to help lower interior temperatures. We offer PRIME XR PLUS in multiple tint grades.
